My Thoughts

Trent is by far my favorite character in this series. I don’t know what it is about him, but he intrigues me to no end. In Scandalous we learn about the forbidden love of Trent and Edie. A 15-year age distance on top of her dad being his sworn enemy calls for a chaos in the most beautiful way.
I think what I love most about this story is how unapologetic they are for both of their personalities. Trent who got the nickname the Mute by no mistake is the brooding asshole who literally started from the bottom and worked his way up. He’s cold, detached and oozing sex appeal like no other. While Edie is a girl who had to grow up way too quickly and is constantly fighting for those around her while never letting anything crush her… that is until Trent comes around.
We see them tear each other’s walls down and unexpectedly fall in love with what was supposed to be a simple lusty relationship. And Luna oh sweet sweet Luna. The way they both love her is so beautiful and is what ultimately brings them together in my opinion.
If you want to reach a story with a lot of kinky sex, bad ass alpha males and strong heroines, this is the book for you!
