My Thoughts

“What makes you feel alive?”

Do you ever do something knowing it’s going to wreck your soul but do it anyway? That’s how I felt reading this book and I’d do it all over again. In this book we experience the heartbreaking love affair of Rosie Leblanc and Dean Cole. The same Dean who dated Emilia, Rosies older sister… Talk about awkward family dinners. (Or so one might think wink wink)
Their story truly did wreck my soul. Star-crossed lovers dealing with a non-negotiable tragic love ending yet it made it all the worthwhile. Dean undoubtedly struck a cord with me because of how much of myself I saw in him. The airhead jokester who people didn’t take seriously with an underlying pain that he’s hiding away. And Rosie, a woman not defined by her flaws living her life the best way she can before they find each other once again and become each other’s saving grace.
I love their story and love their love. I truly think neither one of them was really living before each other.
If you want a book that is going to absolutely wreck your soul in the best way possible, this is the one!
